Botanical Art in the Dome! While it’s cold and dreary outside, take a break from winter to experience an afternoon of encaustic (beeswax) art and dried flower collage INSIDE the Garden Dome! Escape the winter blahs, get creative with others, and refresh your spirit! All materials provided. From Noon to 3pm. limit 10 students

I’d love to host a private event for you and your friends, family or co-workers, in the garden dome, my indoor studio or outdoors (weather permitting). YOU choose the date & time and we’ll go from there.

"Botanical Alchemy: A Collage Workshop with Dried Flowers & Beeswax"

Nestled in a serene mountain setting, our open-air studio offers the perfect backdrop for a soul-nourishing escape. In this intimate art class, you'll work with delicate dried flowers, natural paper, and the gentle warmth of beeswax to create layered botanical collages that feel both ancient and deeply personal.

Guided by the rhythms of nature, you'll forage flowers of your choosing on our 4 acre homestead, learn simple yet powerful techniques to preserve and compose with natural materials. As the scent of warm wax mingles with mountain air and birdsong, time slows down—inviting presence, play, and reflection.

Whether you're an experienced artist or simply curious to explore, this workshop is about process over perfection, connection over outcome. Leave with a finished piece and a heart full of calm, inspired by the quiet magic of the earth.
